Our group is now called Mental Health Awareness Summit! Please join us for our next meeting to discuss promoting mental health awareness at your school,and learn about the resources and fundraising opportunities available to you. Any interested students (new or returning) are welcome!
Announcing November Guest Speaker
Our guest speaker for this month will be Robert Martin. He will be sharing his experiences of working as a therapist with people coping with mental illness and the stigma surrounding it.
Rob is currently practicing as a community based Marriage Family Therapist intern in Santa Clara County. He specializes in working with folks aged 6-18 and their families. Rob has also taught several Psychology courses in high schools around Santa Cruz County. Rob's goal is to help people find out what they really want in life and then work with them to leverage their strengths and interests. Rob worked his way through the CA community college system to transfer to SJSU to earn a Bachelor's in Psychology. He earned his Master's in Counseling Psychology at John F. Kennedy University.
